I doubt why Kanzel choked Zel's neck then(It's quite a long time compared to one slashing). When he appreared at his back, slashing severely could have been more effective way to get rid of him...Maybe Kanzel had seen the chance of grasping Zel's nice neck and wrist;;;	Gourry rescued Zel. Enemys(Copy Rezo, Kanzel, etc..) tend to attack especially Zel's neck and waist. Lina only fights with a spell(She's far from a scuffle)..When Gourry is attacked, he fell away by one blow...but Zel is often "tortured" in a fight, compared to others...Perhaps It's because of the fate as a Body Appeal character...--;;
But If Zel has only body appeal, then can he have such great popularity? I think the point making Zel as Zel is, most of all, the cool, sharp and intelligent images.
