Finally I uploaded this Z/X fanmanga, which was finished on April 2001^^;;
This is a part of one of my old fanfiction, "Grave of Pixies", Here is the background information of it^^;
There is only Zel & Xel: The main motive is that Xel craves for Zel's soul.

Zelgadiss has an enormous dormant power in himself, though he can't draw his power as long as he is a 'human'. His human nature is like a safety pin; to release his power, he has to give up his human character. So Xelloss understood Rezo a bit: Maybe Rezo was confused and made a weird compromise(making his grandson be mixed with mazoku) in the middle of chaotic war between himself and Shabranigdo. Anyway, looking over Zelgadiss to get his power, Xel came to have an inconceivable interest(desire) to the strange chimera's power and chimera himself, by degrees. Xelloss easily defeated Zel, because Zel didn't want to remove his human-self to use his dormant power. Zel hung in the between life and death. Xel confined Zel's unconscious body into a life-supporting crystal coffin, and dived into Zel's soul(spiritual world) to make a final compromise with Zel's soul. Diving into one's spiritual world is very dangerous, especially for Mazoku, as a spirit itself. However, his desire is too strong to give up. |

This Zel is a spiritual self, which appeared like a materialized one in the spiritual world. Xel met Zel's soul and explained why he tried to separate his soul and wants him. Under Zel's soul's control, the separating process will be safe. Without Zel's permission, Xelloss couldn't get his power and soul. That's why he ran the risk of diving into his soul. He suggested that he could spare Zel's body if Zel agreed to connect his soul to Xel and obey Xel's willness. |

Of course, Zel didn't want it. In his spiritual world, one can be control everything as he wants. So Zel defeated Xel severely. Xel suffered from the sharp pain of mental attack. |

................................. ................................. ................................. After all, they couldn't go the same way. In fact Zel knew Xel's subtle affection on him. But he couldn't accept it;; His ultimate goal is to be a normal human. So being with Xel was like...a despair for him. Instead, being with Lina was a hope. Because of that reason, he couldn't choose Xel.
