Sushi Express will be the only takeout and
delivery store in Pittsburgh. It will be located in Shadyside,
PA, a residential neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our
delivery and takeaway sushi is either cheaper than or comparable
to sit-down rivals. We provide the convenience of delivery and
carryout and an alternative to more traditional daytime snack or
lunch options such as sandwiches and pizza. Also our fancy and
healthy sushi party tray can be a great draw for party scene.
Sushi Express's emphasis will be on healthy and creative sushi
and other raw seafood meals with reasonable price and fast
delivery. We can realize the competitive price by utilizing
automatic sushi making machines instead of hiring sushi master.
In addition, we will provide online ordering service to our
customers through our website so that they do not have to wait
in line to get their sushi tray.
Sushi Express will be incorporated as an LLC
corporation. This will shield the owners, Go Maruyama, Yujin
Moon, and Yoshito Maruyama from issues of personal liability and
double taxation. The owners will be treated as shareholders, and
therefore will not be liable for more than their individual
personal investment.
The initial expenses of this business plan will be approximately
$65,000. $15,000 will be invested by the three owners. The
remaining balance of $50,000 will be obtained through bank
loans. This financing is required to begin work on site
preparations and modifications, equipment purchases, and to
cover expenses in the first year of operation.
The business will be housed in a recently vacated pizza delivery
building. After remodeling and modifying, the building will
enable Sushi Express to deliver high quality product in an
efficient manner. The focus of the business will be sushi and
sushi related snacks and meals. Party catering will also be
available.
The financing will allow Sushi Express to open and operating
through the end of the first year. It will be self sufficient by
year two. Although the break even time frame is not until the
end of year two, the revenue from operations will be enough to
allow the business to sustain itself after the first year. |
